Unwanted Affection

He wishes to buy me like a cow

Extol my virtue for a price

But he has failed to notice until now

That I do not roll like a dice

He tries to touch me for no reason

To try and show that me he’s keen

But once more and I’ll cry treason

Because no-one messes with this queen

He feels he can win me like a toy

At a childish fair

But if he tries the foolish boy

I’ll punish him with flair.

    • Some people expect to pay out so much nice behaviour and then be rewarded; the Western equivalent of a dowry in my eyes. Farm animals seemed a logical choice and I’m glad you liked it.
